Cumulative update 9 (CU9)

Microsoft released the new cumulative update for Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3, named Cumulative Update 9 (KB3063879). The version number of this release is 6.3.2000.326.

It has not been announced if there will be a release for other versions of Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012. An update installer is available on the “Update” tile in Lifecycle services.

    I respect you knowledge on AX, but I think you’ve made a small error in your post. Are you sure KB2998197 = CU9?
    While browsing list of hotfixes in my Update Installer, I get following information:

    KB3063879
    All feature enhancements to modules or features areas included in cumulative update 9.

    Also this web resource ( http://blogs.msdn.com/b/axsupport/archive/2012/03/29/overview-of-ax-build-numbers.aspx ) makes me think that
    CU9 = KB3063879
    but the one you refer to – KB2998197 – is actullly CU8.
