Welcome on my new blog: Dynamicspedia.com
Hi there! I have decided to create an own website with blogs and related information on Microsoft Dynamics and the Power Platform. In this way, I can clearly separate my contributions to the Microsoft Dynamics community and my work.
I have copied all my posts I created in the past; also with the comments. I do have some more work to do. E.g. review tags, categories and link all images to my own new web-server. Also, I will evaluate what content would also be valuable on this site.
The photo gallery is meant to be fun. I will try to find some older photo’s from other MVP’s as well as pictures with me or related to my work. If you have a selfie with me or another Microsoft MVP and you would like to have the photo added, you can use the contact form on the Photo gallery page. I will review them and possibly need also permissions from all persons on the picture to be able to post the photo without GDPR issues.
On the page with Other blogs, you will find a lot of blog sites from other MVP’s, Microsoft employees and other great writers. If you have a blog which should be added to the list, just send me a message. I will review if the site as actual posts, before adding them to the list.
One downside of having an own web-page, is the administration part. Yesterday, I added my site to some search engines and somehow, people from foreign countries are trying to hack my site. Not sure what their intentions are, but I put additional security on the site. Also ensured that backups are actually being created and stored on a different location. Within 24 hours, I now have already 8 attempts blocked with just a simple WordPress plugin.
I do hope you like this initiative and I would like to hear your feedback, so I can improve the experience for you. Note that comments will be held in moderation queues first. You might guess the reason why… I will review them as soon as possible to get your real comments approved.
I do hope you liked this post and will add value for you in your daily work as a professional. If you have related questions or feedback, don’t hesitate to use the Comment feature below.
That’s all for now. Till next time!
