365 Saturday South Africa – Here I come!

,
365 Saturday South Africa

On August 17, 2019 there will be a Dynamics 365 Saturday event in Johannesburg, South Africa. This is a free event to learn about different topics related to the various Dynamics 365 applications. The organization asked me as a speaker and for several reasons, I’m willing to speak about various topics.

South Africa 2019

The organization was looking for a speaker with Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations knowledge to be able to join the event on August 17. I’m thankful for being invited. They told me that the event last year in South Africa was one of the best 365 Saturdays. I had to discuss it with my family and employer as I will have to be from home for several days and need to travel in working hours. Well, instead of watching movies, I will spent my flight on working in the plane. So, I would like to use some words to thank my wife, children and To-Increase for giving me the option to make this trip.

About 20 years ago, I also visited South Africa for work. At that time, Navision Software South Africa was just established and as a Dutch Navision partner (at that time), we wanted to explore the opportunity to sell a property management add-on in South Africa. The visit was less than one week, but I had the opportunity to meet great people. With some of them, I do still have contacts. I also had the option to visit a wild park and taste the culture. Initially, I had to provide a demonstration of the property management solution for other partners, but this was cancelled. Now, I do have to opportunity to share some knowledge and potentially meet persons I met before.

My Sessions

I will do a session related to Security administration (overview, architecture, tips, hidden and unknown features) and also a session about Organization hierarchies. One spoiler for the last mentioned: Have you ever considered combining A hierarchy of organization units with the security organization assignment to restrict access on records within one or more forms?

If you have questions related to various other topics or more deeply, you might ask me everything during this event.

You can find all details and information about other speakers and great sessions on the 365 Saturday South Africa landing page. If you haven’t registered for this free event, you have to act quickly as at the time of publishing this post there are only 28 out of the 220 seats available.

I do hope to meet you at August 17!

That’s all for now. Till next time!

    Hi Andre,
Its a very nice topic you are about to discuss,
since I will not be able to be in south Africa 🙂 , I hope you can write a blog regarding this subject after finishing your visit – if you did not wrote about it in your old posts regarding the security.

    Thanks
