Dynamics Power! Brussels – 365 Saturday

On November 16, 2019 there will be a Dynamics 365 Saturday event in Brussels, Belgium. This is a free event to learn about different topics related to the various Dynamics 365 applications. I will be joining this event as a speaker. But even better…. James Phillips (Vice President at Microsoft) will be the keynote speaker on this event. Awesome!

Brussels 2019

For quite some time, I knew this event would be one of the best to join. There is a great line up of speakers arranged. There will be lots of opportunities to learn about the Power platform and Microsoft Dynamics 365. But the keynote speaker was missing on the website. Today, James Phillips has been revealed to join this event. (I do think the reputation of the Belgian beer helped making his decision.)

There are at time of writing still about 90 free tickets for this event available. If you want to come, act quickly. I do expect this event will be sold out in no-time. Please note that if you do register, please make sure you are able to come. It would not be fair to other persons who loves to come and there is no place available anymore. Also, the organization has to organize for food and beverages. A no show would mean that they have to pay for it and possibly let it end up in the trash bin.

My Session

I will do a session about Automation of security role assignment in Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations. I will tell you about all ins and outs related to automatic role assignments. Using automation, you can save time when creating new users. It also prevents errors on correct legal entity assignments and start and stop stand-in assignments in time for e.g. replacements during a vacation. Currently, related to this presentation, I’m working on some freeware which makes it even more easy to handle security role assignments for large number of legal entities and/or users. A similar method was used on a customer having over 2000 legal entities and over 1000 users.
