Power Automate – Demo temporary change user default company

This download contains a Power Automate flow with an example of how to prevent runtime errors in case you need to update or delete records in Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations. The error occurs when you need to perform these actions in a company that is not set as your default company in Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations.

The example shows how you can change the company on the user options and revert it after the update or delete actions.

Power Automate – Excel to Dynamics 365 SCM Purchase orders

This download contains a Power Automate flow to import purchase orders into Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management from an Excel file. Both the Excel template and the Power Automate package are included in the download.

The example shows how to deal with grouping purchase orders per vendor, increase line numbers per order. The field mappings include mappings for date and decimal fields which do need formulas instead of a direct field mapping from Excel.
