Error on ‘Show all fields’ in AX 2012 R2

Recently I was surprised by an error which I did never encounter before. A feature was working all the years I have worked with the Microsoft Dynamics AX product. System user role counted as enterprise user in AX2012 R2 CU7

I’m working on a project where we installed the latest cumulative update (CU7) recently. They went live with more than 250 people who have to manage their project timesheets. By checking the report Named User License Count we found out that all users, managers or time writers were counted as enterprise users.

How to upgrade Data Import/Export Framework to AX2012 R2 CU7

Hi all,

Recently Microsoft released CU7 for Microsoft Dynamics AX2012 R2. During testing of the beta version I came across an error when installing CU7 on top of AX2012 R2 where the Data Import/Export Framework (DIEF) was installed as well. I reported this to Microsoft and learned that DIEF would be part of CU7. The objects were transferred to the syp layer.
