A large part of the year 2025, I spent time on the upcoming user license enforcement for Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O. This involved both working with clients and spending time to help out in the community and the Viva Engage feedback forums.
Now we are coming to the end of the year and reaching (again) the date when license enforcement starts, I have one wish: All I want for Christmas is…. a correctly functioning license report for Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O users.

You hardy can have missed the announcements from Microsoft how they will continue delivering updates for Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations. In fact the full Dynamics 365 product range will be on the same update cadence. Depending if you are already running Microsoft Dynamics 365 or not there are changes which you also need to prepare for yourself.
It’s been a while since I posted a blog post. I have been extremely busy and had barely time to sit down and finish some posts. During my work I collected some experiences and made some drafts, so I will be publishing some more blog posts, for sure. One of the things that took some time from me was testing platform update 11 before it could be released. This platform update was released October 6, 2017 and mainly has some technical improvements. The majority is related to support more options for extending the application to prevent overlayering. One new item is a functional improvement: a Document count indicator.
